Nehemiah Week 3

  1. Why is it hard for us at times to understand work as worship? Did the people in Nehemiah’s day understand building the wall as worship? (Nehemiah 2:18; Chapter 3)
  2. How did Nehemiah know to start with the wall rather than the roads or homes? Can you think of examples where people struggle to put first things first? (Nehemiah 3:1)
  3. It has been said you delegate to elevate. Do you think that was true for Nehemiah? How might that be true for us?
  4. Why would a dad allow his daughter to marry someone who is not good for her? How do others get affected by that choice? (Nehemiah 3:30; 6:17-18)
