Continuing the Mission

Acts 1
  1. When Christians speak of the Holy Spirit today is it the mission of God or something else that seems to be the main focus?
  2. If believers are commissioned by God (Matthew 28:19-20) and empowered for the task (Acts 1:8) why do so many not witness for Christ?
  3. How is Acts 1:16 a great example of the Spirit inspiring the Word of God. (II Peter 1:20-21) Do you feel that modern Christians understand this concept?
  4. How could Judas be considered one of the faithful followers of Jesus (Acts 1:17) while he really chose the fate of eternal hell? (Acts 1:20)
