Competing Kingdoms (Week 11)

A study over the Book of Daniel – Chapter 11

  1. It is said there are 150 fulfilled prophecies in the first 35 verses of Daniel 11. What does that imply for how we interpret prophetic passages that have yet to be fulfilled?
  2. When Jeremiah 29:10-11 predicted plans to prosper them, how does that fit with these verses that tell of God’s people being in the cross fire of these nations for hundreds of years?
  3. How can we learn to be content and at peace knowing the one who knows and controls the future, so we don’t spend our time worrying about the future?
  4. When might you use Daniel 11 to counsel yourself or others?

Fight Verse

“For thus says the Lord, when seventy years have been competed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:10-11
