  1. How does Easter answer the question, “Saved from what?” (Romans 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:1-5)
  2. Where do you see the destructive effects of sin most clearly in culture?
  3. What is one sin or pattern of sin that Christians tend to minimize or excuse?
  4. What would it look like this week if Christians actually lived like they were not only forgiven but set free from sin? (Romans 6:5-11)
  5. What are we to make of the fact that we live in a culture that largely believes no one deserves the death penalty, but serve a God who believes everyone is worthy of the death penalty? (Romans 6:23; James 2:9-10)
