Genesis 29
- How is Genesis 29:1-9 a perfect picture of God’s providence? How does this differ from the world’s idea of fate or luck?
- acob the “deceiver” is now the one being deceived. (Genesis 29:20-25) The world would say “What goes around comes around”. How is that different from “You reap what you sow”? (Galatians 6:7-9)
- Do you recognize the continual problem this family has generationally in regards to deception? Are there any generational sins in your family? If so, what are you doing to break that pattern?
- How would you describe the mess that is Jacob’s family? (Genesis 29:30-35) Where is God at in this mess?
