  1. Jacob is terrified because of the situation (Genesis32:7) though God had already told him the outcome (Genesis 32:9). Can you think of any times we do the same?
  2. Are Jacobs actions a picture of repentance and restitution? (Genesis 32:13-21)
  3. How is this a good example of wrestling with God? (Genesis 32:24-30) What is the application for us?
  4. What are some wrong ways people wrestle with God?
