Genesis 44
  1. Joseph’s brothers had repaid evil for good (Genesis 37:13-14). Why is Joseph so concerned to find out if their character has changed? (Genesis 44:1-4)
  2. They know their sin has caught up with them. (Genesis 44:16) How do you know when your sin has caught up with you, or if your sin will catch up with you? (Numbers 32:23, Galatians 6:7-9)
  3. Jacob has not changed in sinfully showing partiality (Genesis 44:20-22, James 2:1-4,9), yet how do the brothers reflect genuine heart change? (Genesis 44:17, 33-34)
  4. When you truly change you become a champion against those things that previously held you. You fully replace those sinful attitudes and actions with God pleasing attitudes and actions. (Ephesians 4:22-29) What are some of those things in your life?
