  1. Why did God’s name trigger His people? (Malachi 1:6)
  2. Why did God consider their offering evil? When would God consider a person’s offer as evil today? (Malachi 1:8)
  3. The people wanted blessing from God without offering honor to God. How might that look today? (Malachi 1:9)
  4. Why did God want someone to close the gates of the temple? How would someone know whether God wanted to close the doors of a church? (Malachi 1:10)
  5. With the goal of making God’s name great on the earth, how were they doing? How do you feel Christians are doing today? (Malachi 1:11-12)
