- What drove God’s people to be so hungry for the Word that they would listen to it read and explained for half a day? (Nehemiah 8:2-3)
- Ezra stood above them to illustrate how God’s Word was over them. (Nehemiah 8:4-5) What are some evidences that God’s people need to be remined of this today?
- Why does the Word need translated to be understood? (Nehemiah 8:8) Is that still true?
- Why did Nehemiah and Ezra not want the people mourning yet? Nehemiah 8:9-11 How could they turn off grief and turn on rejoicing? What implications does this have for us?
