  1. Why were Nehemiah’s enemies so committed to wrecking his plan? When people stand in the way of your plans are they doing so for similar reasons?
  2. Why did the people feel like giving up? (Nehemiah 4:10) What makes husbands feel like giving up, or wives or moms feel like giving up?
  3. How does fear cripple someone and take their joy and peace away? (Nehemiah 4:14) How can someone turn to God in faith in order to get their life back?
  4. They worked and protected at the same time. (Nehemiah 4:17) In what sense do we need to both work and protect?
