  1. How could the crowd’s expectation have been so far off? What are some modern expectations about Jesus that are far off?
  2. When do wrong expectations cross over into evidence of genuine unbelief?
  3. When people praise Jesus but don’t submit to Him, they reinterpret Him. Can you think of modern-day examples?
  4. Jesus entered on a donkey offering peace. What does this teach us about the kind of King Jesus is?
  5. Most missed the significance of what was happening right in front of them. What do God’s people today miss about what God is doing?
