Don’t just admire Jesus, follow Jesus

Matthew 7:13-29
  1. What is most encouraging or unsettling about this passage?
  2. Why does Jesus follow up His narrow and wide paths/gates contrast with people who all consider themselves Christians?
  3. Jesus teaches like it is easy to distinguish true from false teachers. Do you find that is true today? (Matthew 7:15-19)
  4. How can actions be a key indicator of genuine faith (Matthew 7:24) when this whole section indicted the Pharisees who were looked at as rigidly adhering to the Bible? (Matthew 5:20)
