Genesis 12 – 13
  1. Abraham is presented in the Bible as an example of the kind of faith you and I are to have. (Romans 4:1-4) What stands out positive or negative about Abraham’s faith in Genesis 12?
  2. Why would Abram worship God before he receives the blessing? (Genesis 12:7) Are there things God has promised about your future you should be worshiping Him for now?
  3. Abram should have continued basing his choices on faith in God’s promises not fear of his circumstances. (Genesis 12:1-3,11-13) When do we find ourselves switching from faith to fear?
  4. When God says to leave his relatives and Abram takes Lot along, how did that partial obedience affect Abram. (Genesis 12:1,4; 13:1) Can you think of some ways Christians partially obey today?
