Genesis 14
  1. How is Abraham’s life complicated by Lot because he did not follow God’s command completely? Genesis 12:1. When have you seen peoples lives complicated because of partial obedience?
  2. Abraham continually worships God (Genesis 12:8, 13:4, 13:18) but Lot is not seen worshiping God, though he is recorded as a believer (II Peter 2:7). Which of these men do you think is more reflective of modern Christianity?
  3. As believers how should we handle political and geopolitical issues and problems in light of God’s complete knowledge of all things?
  4. Abraham worshiped by giving a 10th of all he had taken. Is the tithe (10%) to be the floor or ceiling in our giving to the Lord? (II Corinthians 9:6-7)
