Genesis – Where it all began (Week 37)

A study through the book of Genesis (Week 37)

Genesis 41
  1. What is the danger of people claiming to have dreams from God? Is there a danger in thinking God would never use dreams? (Ezekiel 13:16; Lamentations 2:14; Colossians 2:18)
  2. Would it be wrong to assume that anyone with enough faith can ascend like Joseph, when Pharaoh put him in charge of Egypt? If so, why? (Genesis 41:38-43; Hebrews 11:32-39)
  3. Pharaoh recognized Joseph as having a “divine spirit”. Should people be able to discern that in our lives? Why or why not? (Genesis 41:38; I Peter 3:15)
  4. 4. Why would God allow Joseph to go through thirteen years of sever injustice even though he had proven to be faithful to God from the beginning? (Genesis 37:2; 41:46)
